Our Story
The Greater Tunapuna Chamber of industry and commerce was established in 1991 and registered in 1993.
With boundaries from Mt. Lambert Circular Road, Arouca and the Northern Range to Guyamare River, the composition of members is expensive and includes small, medium and large retail and wholesale enterprises, professionals, banks, insurance companies, providers of commercial and domestic services as well as associate members.
Our Strategy
Develop and advocate for policies that promote economic growth and social development in Tunapuna, working in partnership with local government, businesses, and community organizations.
Attract and retain a diverse range of businesses and entrepreneurs to Tunapuna by promoting the region’s strengths, such as its strategic location, skilled workforce, and favorable business environment.
Foster a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship by providing training, mentorship, and networking opportunities for new and existing businesses in Tunapuna.
Champion high industry standards in Tunapuna by providing resources, education, and recognition to businesses that excel in their respective fields.
Engage with the local community to ensure that economic growth and development benefit all citizens of Tunapuna, by supporting initiatives that enhance social welfare, improve public infrastructure, and promote environmental sustainability.
Establish the Greater Tunapuna Chamber of Industry & Commerce as a trusted and respected authority on business and economic development in the region, by engaging in thought leadership, knowledge-sharing, and collaboration with stakeholders at the local, national, and international levels.
